How to Increase Internet Speed in Vista/Windows 7

Issue: 

How can I  Increase Internet Speed in XP/Vista/Windows 7

Solution:

Create and run the below said patch:

Open Notepad, and copy paste below said script.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Psched]
"NonBestEffortLimit"=dword:00000000

Now save the file as Fix.reg  then double click fix.reg file and merge it to the registry. Then restart the computer.

OR

Perform the steps provided below:


1. Click Start - Run - type gpedit.msc
2. Navigate to Computer configuration - Administrative templates - Network - Qos pkt Scheduler - limit reservaable Bandwidth



3. Select Enabled, Change the default ( Which is set at 20% ) by clicking enable and set this to 0.
